I’m a Celiac living in Canada. Since my diagnosis in 2022, I’ve thrown myself into research about all things Celiac & I’ve learned quite a lot! I’ve made this website to host & share my knowledge in one space. All information that I share here is well-researched, authentic to my own life experience, and free to access.

Disclosure

I am not a doctor! All information on this site is for informational & entertainment purposes. Please speak with a doctor, gastroenterologist, or dietitian about any concerns you have related to Celiac disease, nutrition, autoimmune symptoms, intolerances, or allergies that you may have.

That said, I feel strongly about providing accurate and nuanced information. There is a lot of misinformation out there, and my aim is to not contribute to that. When writing articles that contain any kind of scientific or medical claim, I will include links to reputable sources such as peer reviewed medical journals or highly trusted organizations.

AI Statement

All articles are written & edited by me, by hand. I have never and will never use AI to create any of my content. Writing for me is a way of processing, it’s an important outlet for me and I enjoy doing it!

I do not support the use of generative AI or large language models for content creation. I do not have a technology background (my past & present career industries are humanities and healthcare respectively), but despite that I have challenged myself to make my website by hand, however, WordPress & Bluehost do have AI website creation tools baked in to their website editors.

Any images used are royalty free (filtered by non-AI), made by me, or commissioned from a real person.

I do not consent to any of my writing being used to train or otherwise program, educate, or fine-tune any form of AI.

Privacy

I’m just a person with a blog. I don’t want your data and I wouldn’t know what to do with it if I did have it. Maybe one day I’ll let you give me your email address so you can subscribe to know when new articles come out. Do WordPress and Bluehost want your data? Probably, but that’s out of my realm of control. That being said, this site is encrypted & has a valid security certificate.
